ABOUT John Simmons

John Simmons is the President and Founder of Patria Realty Group. He specializes in land acquisition, disposition, and real estate investment analysis throughout Texas. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with national corporate clients across the United States as well as local investors just beginning their real estate journey.

Using his extensive experience and expertise, John works closely with investors and developers, taking a fully comprehensive approach to their real estate needs by diligently assessing every aspect of a property including physical layout, location, and future market growth patterns.

After graduating from Texas A&M University – College Station with a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics, John accepted a position with a national commercial real estate firm in Dallas that specialized in tenant representation. He gained valuable experience negotiating deals for national and regional corporate clients. Years later, he was recruited by another real estate firm as Vice President of their newly formed land division. John was essential in building the land division for the company by amassing a listing portfolio totaling over $100 million in less than four years. In 2021, John decided to venture off on his own and began forming the company that is today, Patria Realty Group.

Outside of real estate, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Priscilla, and their two children, Zeke and Addie. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing and is also an active member in his Church community and the Knights of Columbus.
